Sixteen months have passed since the sinking of the cruise liner, the 'Sea Diamond', at Santorini and there is still no conclusion as to the reasons for the shipwreck. The Greek Government, the Ministry of Mercantile Marine and the competent local authorities have all failed to hold the shipping company, 'Hellenic Louis Cruises', to account, whereas that company has already received 55 million dollars in compensation.
