E-commerce will therefore be included in the Commission's new "Interactive Policy Making" - initiative which aims - via the Internet- to collect spontaneous reactions from the marketplace using existing networks (such as the EIC network) in order to enhance the Commission's ability to assess the impact of its policies (or the absence of them) on the ground; to evaluate proposals for new actions, to respond rapidly and in a targeted manner to problems or issues that emerge, and to be accountable for its actions.
Daarom zal e-handel worden opgenomen in het nieuwe initiatief van de Commissie "Interactieve beleidsbepaling", dat tot doel heeft via internet spontane reacties van marktdeelnemers te verzamelen door middel van bestaande netwerken (zoals het EIC-netwerk), teneinde de Commissie beter in staat te stellen het effect van haar beleidsmaatregelen (of de afwezigheid ervan) in de praktijk te beoordelen, voorstellen voor nieuwe acties te evalueren, snel en doelgericht te reageren op problemen of moeilijkheden die zich voordoen, en zich voor haar acties te verantwoorden.
