Hoge AN (tabel B2) zijn afgeleid van de BGW voor gezondheidseffecten voor interne elektrische velden in verband met elektrische stimulatie van perifere en autonome zenuwweefsels in hoofd en romp (tabel A2). Inachtneming van de hoge AN waarborgt dat BGW voor gezondheidseffecten niet worden overschreden, maar de effecten in verband met retinale fosfenen en kleine overgaande wijzigingen in hersenactiviteit zijn mogelijk, indien de blootstelling van het hoofd de lage AN overschrijdt voor blootstellingen tot 400 Hz.
