5. Calls on the Commission to proceed with the promotion and expansion of a common, self-regulatory EU system of rating criteria, more specifically the Pan European Game Information (PEGI) labelling system which provides information about potentially harmful content for minors, and to ensure coordination among Member States to achieve a PEGI-only labelling system in the sale of games;
5. steunt de zelfreguleringsbenadering en verzoekt de Commissie voort te gaan met de bevordering en uitbreiding van een gemeenschappelijk EU-systeem voor zelfregulering en met name het etiketteringssysteem van PEGI (Pan European Games Information), dat informatie over potentieel schadelijke inhoud voor minderjarigen geeft, en voor coördinatie tussen de lidstaten zorg te dragen zodat bij de verkoop van videospellen alleen de PEGI-etikettering wordt gebruikt;
