3. Calls on the Council, the Commission, the Member States and the candidate countries to urgently eliminate continuing trends of discrimination because of sexual orientation and to promote and protect the human rights of all persons regardless of their sexual orientation;
3. verzoekt de Raad, de Commissie, de lidstaten en de kandidaat-lidstaten met klem nog altijd bestaande trends tot discriminatie op grond van de seksuele geaardheid uit de weg te ruimen en de mensenrechten van alle burgers, ongeacht hun seksuele geaardheid, te bevorderen en te beschermen;
