Overeenkomstig de doelstellingen en beginselen van het programma voor het radiospectrumbeleid, die gericht zijn op het vinden van manieren om schadelijke interferentie te voorkomen en het efficiënter gebruiken van spectrum, zou dergelijke schadelijke interferentie kunnen worden voorkomen door middel van bepaalde interferentiebeperkingsoplossingen, zoals de in bijlage 2 van CEPT-verslag nr. 50 genoemde specifieke procedure voor interferentievrij gebruik van draadloze verbindingen voor microfoons en in-ear monitors, of door toepassing van andere beperkingsoplossingen.
