Burma, a country known for its wonderful Buddhist temples which abound in gold, is also a prison for thousands of Burmese. They live in one of the biggest political regimes in the world, from which they try to escape – to the USA, Australia, Canada and to European countries and their neighbours.
Birma staat bekend om zijn prachtige, met goud beladen boeddhistische heiligdommen. Tegelijk is het echter een gevangenis voor duizenden Birmanen die onder een van de strengste politieke regimes ter wereld leven en daaruit proberen te ontsnappen naar de VS, Australië, Canada, Europese landen en de buurlanden van Birma.
