The Commission's proposal takes account of both parties' security concerns, firstly by using flexible modulation for the PRS code, which can be adapted as required, and by setting up a security structure to monitor and control the use of the PRS code during the operational phase of Galileo.
In het voorstel van de Commissie is rekening gehouden met de veiligheidsbehoeften van beide partijen, in de eerste plaats door te kiezen voor een flexibele modulatie van het PRS-signaal waardoor zo nodig aanpassingen mogelijk zijn, en in de tweede plaats door de opzet van een veiligheidsinstantie die toezicht houdt op het gebruik van het PRS-signaal in de operationele fase van Galileo.
