You are right: as European citizens, we have a right to demand to be treated decently as air passengers and, in the future, as rail passengers. Therefore, rest assured, Mr Rack, that it is indeed the aim of the Commissioner for Transport to ensure that passengers’ rights are applied more and more rigorously.

U hebt gelijk: als Europees burgers hebben we recht op een behoorlijke behandeling als luchtreiziger en straks ook als treinreizigers. U kunt er dus gerust op zijn, mijnheer Rack, dat de commissaris voor vervoer er wel degelijk naar streeft om steeds strenger toe te zien op de rechten van de passagiers.
