The CARAD programme consists of a bundle of measures appropriated for fundamental research conducted by public research institutes and Higher Education institutions (HEIS) and for basic industrial research conducted mostly on a collaborative basis by industry, public research institutions and HEIs.
Het CARAD-Programma bestaat uit een pakket maatregelen ten behoeve van fundamenteel onderzoek dat wordt verricht door openbare onderzoekinstellingen en hoger-onderwijsinstellingen (HEI's) en van algemeen industrieel onderzoek dat voornamelijk op basis van samenwerking door de industrie, openbare onderzoekinstellingen en HEI's wordt verricht.
