3. Where a medium or high impact level is attributed to an external border section which is adjacent to the border section of another Member State or of a country with which agreements or regional networks, as referred to in Articles 19 and 20, are in place, the national coordination centre shall contact the national coordination centre of the neighbouring Member State or the competent authority of the neighbouring country and shall endeavour to coordinate the necessary cross-border measures.
3. Wanneer het impactniveau „gemiddeld” of „hoog” wordt vastgesteld voor een buitengrenssegment dat grenst aan een grenssegment van een andere lidstaat of van een land waarmee overeenkomsten zijn gesloten of regionale netwerken zijn opgezet, als bedoeld in de artikelen 19 en 20, treedt het nationale coördinatiecentrum in contact met het nationale coördinatiecentrum van de aangrenzende lidstaat of de bevoegde autoriteit van het aangrenzende derde land en het streeft ernaar de nodige grensoverschrijdende maatregelen te coördineren.
