The performance scheme should contribute to the sustainable development of the air transport system by improving overall efficiency of the air navigation services across the key performance areas of safety, environment, capacity and cost-efficiency, in consistency with those identified in the Performance Framework of the ATM Master Plan, all having regard to the overriding safety objectives.
De prestatieregeling moet bijdragen tot de duurzame ontwikkeling van het systeem voor luchtvervoer door het verbeteren van de algemene efficiëntie van de luchtvaartnavigatiediensten op prestatiekerngebieden zoals veiligheid, milieu, capaciteit en kostenefficiëntie, overeenkomstig de in het prestatiekader van het masterplan inzake luchtverkeersbeveiliging aangemerkte gebieden, en dat alles met het oog op de prioritaire veiligheidsdoelstellingen.
