The Commission will lend its support for the starting up of the activities of the European language resources association (ELRA), whose aims are to: - compile an inventory of the language resources available in the Community, - introduce mechanisms to ensure that they are disseminated throughout the Community, - promote the application of common standards to ensure their compatibility and enable quality certification.
De Commissie zal startsteun verlenen voor de werkzaamheden van de Europese vereniging voor taalhulpbronnen (ELRA) die tot doel heeft: . een inventaris op te maken van de in de Gemeenschap beschikbare taalhulpbronnen; . mechanismen op te zetten die de verspreiding van deze hulpbronnen op communautaire schaal mogelijk maken; . de toepassing te bevorderen van gezamenlijke normen om hun compatibiliteit te garanderen en hun kwaliteit te certificeren.
