This would necessitate the continuation of the secondment of national experts and also longer-term investments to ensure that key functions in health security instituted by the Task Force, such as the operation of the rapid alert system, the maintenance of the Health Security Committee consultation and co-ordination mechanism, the updating of plans, models, guidelines and experts' directories and the organisation of training sessions, are properly discharged.
Dit vereist voortzetting van de detachering van nationale deskundigen en ook investeringen op langere termijn om te waarborgen dat de essentiële functies die de taskforce heeft ingesteld, zoals de toepassing van het snellewaarschuwingssysteem, de instandhouding van het overleg- en coördinatiemechanisme van het Comité voor de bescherming van de gezondheid, de bijwerking van de plannen, modellen, richtsnoeren en repertoria van deskundigen en de organisatie van trainingsessies, naar behoren worden vervuld.
