The aim of the Ethno-Medical Centre (Ethno-Medizinisches Zentrum- EMZ) is to provide health services and counselling geared to the needs of immigrants by removing linguistic and cultural barriers to communication, thereby facilitating the task of making accurate diagnoses, particularly with regard to mental or psychosomatic disorders or illnesses.
Het doel van het Etnisch-Medisch Centrum (Ethno-Medizinisches Zentrum- EMZ) is in gezondheidsdiensten en -voorlichting te voorzien die op de behoeften van migranten zijn afgestemd door taal- en cultuurbarrières weg te nemen ter bevordering van de communicatie, zodat het eenvoudiger wordt een juiste diagnose te stellen, met name in het geval van geestelijke of psychosomatische klachten of ziekten.
