e crisis management system in force, which would consist of the introd
uction of so-called ‘safety funds’, managed by the groupings themselves, intended to finance withdrawals at times of serious crisis, reductions of production in the event of market satur
ation, and also the implementation of a system of insur
...[+++]ance for incomes. If properly organised, this ‘box’ should become the instrument that the producers’ organisations currently lack for dealing with the ups and downs of the market.
In het ontwerpverslag dat ik het Europees Parlement heb voorgelegd, wordt een alternatief geboden voor het vigerende interventiestelsel. In dat alternatieve stelsel worden de zogeheten “zekerheidskassen” ingevoerd, die moeten worden beheerd door de organisaties zelf, voor het financieren van het uit de markt nemen van producten bij crises, van operaties voor productieverlagingen bij verzadiging van de markt, of voor de financiering van een in te voeren verzekeringsstelsel voor producenteninkomens.
