The JRC will implement a programme aimed at retaining knowledge, ensuring that this knowledge is readily available, properly organised and well documented; in addition, it will implement a programme encouraging the development of new scientists and engineers, designed to establish how to attract young people to research in the field of nuclear energy and to train them in this area; it will also support higher education activities in Europe.
