In order to ensure appropriate regulatory oversight, it is neces
sary that the legal structure and the governance and organisational structure, including all regulated entities, non-regulated subsidiaries and significant branches of banks, insurance undertakings and financial conglomerates with cross-border activities, are monitored by EBA, EIOPA, ESMA (hereinafter collectively referred to as
‘the ESAs’) and the Joint Committee, as appropriate, and that

Om een adequaat regulerend toezicht te verzekeren is het noodzakelijk dat er op de juridische structuur en de bestuur- en organisatorische structuur van alle gereglementeerde entiteiten, niet-gereglementeerde dochterondernemingen van banken en hun significante bijkantoren, verzekeraars en financiële conglomeraten met grensoverschrijdende activiteiten, toezicht wordt gehouden door de EBA, EIOPA en ESMA (European Supervisory Authorities — „ESA’s”) en, al naar het geval, het Gemengd Comité, en dat informatie bekend wordt gemaakt aan de relevante bevoegde autoriteiten.
