Calls for any agreement to incorporate binding social and environmental clauses, committing the parties to ratifying the core International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions and ensuring their effective implementation, particularly as regards child and forced labour, the eradication of which is a crucial challenge for the ILO, as it pointed out in its report entitled ‘End of Child Labour: Within Reach’ first published in 2006;
verlangt dat elke overeenkomst bindende sociale en ecologische bepalingen bevat, waarbij de partijen verplicht worden de belangrijkste ILO-verdragen te ratificeren en op de doeltreffende tenuitvoerlegging daarvan toe te zien, met name ten aanzien van kinder- en gedwongen arbeid, waarvan de uitroeiing een cruciale doelstelling vormt van de ILO, zoals zij ook heeft aangegeven in haar verslag „End of Child Labour: Within Reach”, dat voor het eerst in 2006 verscheen;
