By way of derogation from Articles 1 and 5, Belgium, Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands shall be authorised to estimate the sheep and goat populations and the United Kingdom the goat population held in November/December on the basis of the populations recorded during the annual livestock census or agricultural structure survey which they carry out in the same year.
In afwijking van de artikelen 1 en 5 zijn België, Denemarken, Duitsland en Nederland gemachtigd de schapen- en geitenstapel en is het Verenigd Koninkrijk gemachtigd de geitenstapel in november/december te schatten aan de hand van de aantallen die zij bij de jaarlijkse veestapeltelling, of bij een in hetzelfde jaar uitgevoerde enquête inzake de structuur van de landbouwbedrijven, hebben opgetekend.
