However, given the rapid evolution of the internet, as well as the necessity of ensuring legal translations first and foremost, according to Regulation 1, the Commission must always be on the lookout for the right balance between providing relevant and up-to-date information to the stakeholders within the EU, and ensuring the fully multilingual character of all of the Commission’s websites.
Desondanks, gelet op de snelle ontwikkeling van het internet, alsook op de noodzaak om eerst te voldoen aan de verplichtingen aangaande juridische vertalingen die voortvloeien uit de vereisten van Verordening nr. 1/58, moet de Commissie permanent het juiste evenwicht bewaren tussen de optie om relevante en geactualiseerde informatie te verschaffen aan alle belanghebbenden in de Unie en de optie om alle websites van de Commissie een volledig meertalig karakter te geven.
