2. De havenexploitanten of de bevoegde havenautoriteiten zorgen ervoor dat havens over de nodige uitrusting beschikken om de milieuprestaties van schepen in havens te waarborgen, met name walstroomvoorzieningen en ontvangstvoorzieningen voor scheepsafval en ladingresiduen, overeenkomstig Richtlijn 2000/59/EG van het Europees Parlement en de Raad van 27 november 2000 betreffende havenontvangstvoorzieningen voor scheepsafval en ladingresiduen en Richtlijn 2012/./EU betreffende het zwavelgehalte van scheepsbrandstoffen en walstroomfaciliteiten.
