With regard to the ability of the SRM to produce effective decisions, time is critical for two important reasons: ex-ante, to enhance the credibility of the newly-established SRM as a responsive tool, contributing to minimize the sources of uncertainty in the markets; and where resolution is triggered, for the SRM to preserve the value of the assets which can be eroded by unnecessary delays in the resolution process.
