There is a need for further activities promoting the full implementation of the CWC as well as activities enhancing the preparedness of State Parties to the CWC (‘State Parties’) to prevent and respond to attacks involving toxic chemicals, international cooperation in the field of chemical activities, and the ability of the OPCW to adapt to developments in the field of science and technology.
Er moet verder worden gewerkt aan het bevorderen van de onverkorte uitvoering van het CWC, het vergroten van de mate waarin de staten die partij zijn bij het CWC („staten die partij zijn”) paraat zijn om aanvallen met chemische stoffen te voorkomen en erop te reageren, de internationale samenwerking op gebied van chemische activiteiten, en het verbeteren van het vermogen van de OPCW om zich aan te passen aan wetenschappelijke en technologische ontwikkelingen.
