A package of measures has been proposed by the Commission in 2012 to smooth the introduction of a mini-One Stop Shop in 2015 so that the taxation of telecommunications, broadcasting and electronic services are more SME-friendly by allowing service suppliers to comply with their obligations in the whole of the EU by submitting a single VAT return and payment in the Member State in which they are established.
