Where the method of type identification includes characters which do not relate to the description of the types of vehicle/separate technical unit/component referred to in this information document, those characters are replaced in the documentation, by the sign '?' (example: ABC??123??).
Indien het middel ter identificatie van het type tekens bevat die niet van betekenis zijn voor de beschrijving van het type voertuig/technische eenheid/onderdeel waarop dit inlichtingenformulier betrekking heeft, moeten dergelijke tekens op het formulier door vraagtekens worden vervangen (bij voorbeeld ABC??123??).
