If pregnancy cannot be excluded, depending on the type of medical exposure, in particular if abdominal and pelvic regions are involved, special attention shall be given to the justification, particularly the urgency, and to the optimisation of the medical exposure, taking into account the exposure both of the expectant mother and the unborn child.
Indien zwangerschap niet uitgesloten kan worden geacht, wordt afhankelijk van het soort medische blootstelling, met name wanneer het gaat om de buik en bekkenstreek, bijzondere aandacht besteed aan de rechtvaardiging, met name in verband met de urgentie, en aan de optimalisatie van de medische blootstelling, waarbij rekening wordt gehouden met de blootstelling van zowel de aanstaande moeder als het ongeboren kind.
