4. An authorised extension of rules may continue to apply after the expiry of the initial period of time, including by tacit agreement, without an explicit renewal of the authorisation, provided that the Member State concerned has notified the Commission, at least one month before the expiry of such initial period, of the additional period of application and the Commission has either authorised such further application, or not objected to it within one month of receipt of such notification.
4. Een goedgekeurde uitbreiding van de voorschriften mag na afloop van de eerste termijn, ook met stilzwijgend akkoord, zonder dat de goedkeuring uitdrukkelijk wordt verlengd, verder worden toegepast, op voorwaarde dat de betrokken lidstaat de Commissie minstens één maand voor afloop van de eerste termijn in kennis heeft gesteld van de verlengde toepassing en de Commissie die verlengde toepassing heeft goedgekeurd of er niet binnen één maand na ontvangst van de kennisgeving bezwaar tegen heeft aangetekend.
