As a result of the assessment of the Committee, the particular nutritional purposes ‘stabilisation of water and electrolyte balance to support the physiological digestion’ and ‘support of renal function in case of chronic renal insufficiency’ for adult dogs should be added to the list of intended uses and the conditions associated with the particular nutritional purposes ‘support of heart function in the case of chronic cardiac insufficiency’ and ‘support of renal function in case of chronic renal insufficiency’ as regards ‘cats and dogs’ and ‘reduction of copper in the liver’ should be changed.
Als gevolg van de beoordeling van het Comité moeten de bijzondere voedingsdoelen „stabilisatie van de water- en elektrolytenbalans ter ondersteuning van de fysiologische spijsvertering” en „ondersteuning van de nierfunctie bij chronische nierinsufficiëntie” voor volwassen honden worden toegevoegd aan de lijst van bestemmingen en moeten de voorwaarden gekoppeld aan de bijzondere voedingsdoelen „ondersteuning van de hartfunctie bij chronische hartinsufficiëntie” en „ondersteuning van de nierfunctie bij chronische nierinsufficiëntie” wat betreft „honden en katten” en „vermindering van de koperstapeling in de lever” worden veranderd.
