6.4. De verbindingskabels tussen het controleapparaat en de zender moeten zodanig elektronisch zijn beveiligd, bijvoorbeeld door signaalencryptie, dat in dat deel van het systeem de aanwezigheid van een inrichting wordt aangetoond, die niet noodzakelijk is voor de goede werking van het controleapparaat of die de nauwkeurige werking van het controleapparaat zou kunnen verhinderen door kortsluiting, onderbreking of wijziging van de elektronische gegevens van de snelheids- en afstandopnemer of door verdubbeling van overigens goedgekeurde inrichtingen, wanneer die inrichting is aangesloten en functioneert.
