De Commissie begrotingscontrole behandelde op haar vergaderingen van 18 februari, 10 maart, 19 maart, 20 maart en 24 maart 2003 de jaarrekening en de financiële balans betreffende het begrotingsjaar 2001, het verslag over de uitvoering van de algemene begroting, de geconsolideerde financiële verklaring, het Actieplan (de documenten SEC(2002) 403, SEC(2002) 404, SEC(2002) 406 en SEC(2002) 1378), het jaarverslag van de Rekenkamer, de door de commissieleden opgestelde werkdocumenten over de diverse beleidssectoren van de Gemeenschap, de aanbeveling van de Raad alsmede het ontwerpverslag en de adviezen van de bevoegde commissies.
