19. vraagt de Commissie en de lidstaten om op grond van de EU-verordening inzake maatregelen betreffende besmet voedsel in geval van nucleaire ongelukken onmiddellijk maximaal toegestane niveaus op EU-niveau vast te stellen ter bescherming van de meest kwetsbare bevolkingsgroepen, overeenkomstig de jongste wetenschappelijke inzichten bij de beoordeling van stralingsdoses en gevolgen voor de gezondheid; vraagt de Commissie en de lidstaten verder ervoor te zorgen dat het hoofdbeginsel op dit gebied het hoge beschermingsniveau van de menselijke gezondheid blijft, en niet de bescherming van commerciële belangen of de interne markt;
