The EIB shall carry out risk, financial, technical and legal due diligence and shall decide upon the use of the risk-sharing instrument for project bonds and select the appropriate type of subordinated facility in accordance with its standard rules and criteria, notably EIB Credit Risk Policy Guidelines, and the EIB’s selection criteria in the social, environmental and climate field.
De EIB voert een grondig onderzoek (due diligence-onderzoek) uit naar het risico, alsmede de financiële, technische en juridische aspecten, en besluit over het gebruik van het risicodelingsinstrument voor projectobligaties en selecteert de geschikte soort ondergeschikte faciliteit overeenkomstig haar standaardvoorschriften en -criteria, met name de richtsnoeren voor kredietrisicobeleid van de EIB, en de selectiecriteria van de EIB op sociaal, milieu- en klimaatgebied.
