The measures, grouped together in contract documents, include the following: - time limits for hay cutting and grazing in fields to allow birds to complete their reproduction cycle; - the maintenance in their natural state of meadows and their characteristic flora, without modifying the structure or relief feat
ures thereof; - no drainage; - abolishing or restricting the use of fertilizers and pesticides, no sewage sludge application; - limiting stock density; - the obligation to give priority to cereals in crop rotation systems; - the maintenance and upkeep of landscape features: hedgerows

Het betreft met name : - ùinachtneming van bepaalde maai- en graastermijnen voor weiden, met het oog op de reproduktie van de vogels; - ùinstandhouding van weiden en hun typische flora, zonder wijziging van structuur of microreliëf; - ùverplichting om bepaalde gronden niet te draineren; - ùverbod of beperking van het gebruik van meststoffen en bestrijdingsmiddelen, verbod op uitrijden van zuiveringsslib; - ùbeperking van de veedichtheid; - ùverplichting om de graanteelt een belangrijke plaats te geven in de vruchtwisseling; - ùbehoud en onderhoud van verschillende landschapscomponenten : heggen, struweel, vijvers en sloten.
