Moreover, the European Social Fund mainstream programmes and the Community initiative EQUAL, as the main financial tools through which the Community translates into action its aims as regards employment of people with disabilities, finance a wide range of actions for the integration of disabled people into the labour market and test innovative approaches on specific aspects of the integration into the labour market.
Met behulp van de algemene programma's van het Europees Sociaal Fonds en het Gemeenschapsinitiatief EQUAL, alsook met de belangrijkste financieringsinstrumenten waarmee de Gemeenschap haar doelstellingen ten aanzien van de arbeidsparticipatie van personen met een handicap in de praktijk vertaalt, wordt daarnaast een heel scala aan activiteiten voor de integratie van personen met een handicap op de arbeidsmarkt gefinancierd en worden vernieuwende benaderingen ten aanzien van specifieke aspecten van de integratie op de arbeidsmarkt uitgetest.
