ndment includes two kinds of modification: firstly, it
corrects the slight error made in the figures for Portugal, caused by the duplicate figures supplied by the Portuguese Government on the quota buy-back programme, a mistake which was recognised by the Commission and it was hoped would be corrected automatically during the process of
adopting the act; secondly the reductions which, over and above the 0.5% resulting from
...[+++] the disappearance of the national reserve, are applied by the Commission to varieties I and II are not applied.
Dit amendement omvat twee soorten wijzigingen: ten eerste wordt de kleine fout bij de cijfers voor Portugal rechtgetrokken die door een dubbele mededeling van de Portugese overheid met betrekking tot het programma inzake de opkoop van quota was ontstaan. Deze fout, die door de Commissie is toegegeven, moet in de procedure betreffende de goedkeuring van de verordening worden verbeterd; ten tweede worden de door de Commissie op de tabakssoorten I en II toegepaste verlagingen van meer dan 0,5% die voortvloeien uit de afschaffing van de nationale reserve, niet toegepast.
