(1)The European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) aims to provide support for workers made redundant and self-employed persons whose activity has ceased as a result of major structural changes in world trade patterns due to globalisation, as a result of a continuation of the global financial and economic crisis, or as a result of a new global financial and economic crisis, and to assist them with their reintegration into the labour market.
(1)Het Europees Fonds voor aanpassing aan de globalisering (EFG) heeft tot doel steun te verlenen aan werknemers die werkloos zijn geworden en zelfstandigen die hun werkzaamheden hebben beëindigd als gevolg van uit de globalisering voortvloeiende grote structurele veranderingen in de wereldhandelspatronen, doordat de wereldwijde financiële en economische crisis aanhoudt, of door een nieuwe wereldwijde financiële en economische crisis, en hen te helpen om op de arbeidsmarkt terug te keren.
