(23) In the implementation of Copernicus, the Commission should rely, where appropriate, on European intergovernmental organisations with whom it has already established partnerships, in particular ESA for the technical coordination of the Copernicus space component, the definition of its architecture, the development and procurement of space assets, data access and the operation of dedicated missions.
23) Bij de uitvoering van Copernicus dient de Commissie, in voorkomend geval, een beroep te doen op Europese intergouvernementele organisaties waarmee zij reeds een partnerschap heeft, in het bijzonder ESA, voor de technische coördinatie van de Copernicusruimtecomponent, de omschrijving van de systeemarchitectuur, de ontwikkeling en het aanbesteden van ruimtemissies, de toegang tot gegevens en de uitvoering van specifieke missies.
