This Regulation establishes rules with regard to the cooperation between European standardisation organisations, national standardisation bodies, Member States and the Commission, the establishment of European standards and European standardisation deliverables for products and for services in support of Union legislation and policies, the identification of ICT technical specifications eligible for referencing, the financing of European standardisation and stakeholder participation in European standardisation.
Deze verordening stelt regels vast voor de samenwerking tussen de Europese normalisatieorganisaties, de nationale normalisatie-instellingen, de lidstaten en de Commissie, de opstelling van Europese normen en Europese normalisatieproducten voor producten en voor diensten ter ondersteuning van wetgeving en beleid van de Unie, de identificatie van technische ICT-specificaties die in aanmerking komen om te dienen als referentie, de financiering van Europese normalisatie en de deelname van de belanghebbenden aan Europese normalisatie.
