Standardisation mandates of official requests for standards from the Commission were given for areas as diversified as construction products, machinery, steel child-resistant fastenings for reclosable packaging, methods and equipment for measuring emissions in support of environmentaldd policy, machine-readable identification cards, health care informatics, and functional specifications for home electronic systems.
