The initial training shall ensure that student air traffic controllers satisfy at least the objectives for basic and rating training, as described in Eurocontrol’s ‘Specification for the ATCO Common Core Content Initial Training’, edition of 21 October 2008 (1), so that air traffic controllers are capable of handling air traffic in a safe, quick and efficient way.
Het doel van de initiële opleiding is te garanderen dat de personen die een opleiding tot luchtverkeersleider volgen ten minste voldoen aan de doelstellingen voor de basisopleiding en de opleiding met het oog op de bevoegdverklaring, als omschreven in Eurocontrol's specificaties voor gemeenschappelijke kerninhoud van de initiële opleiding tot luchtverkeersleider („Specification for the ATCO Common Core Content Initial Training”), uitgave van 21 oktober 2008 (1), zodat de luchtverkeersleiders in staat zijn het luchtverkeer veilig, snel en efficiënt te leiden.
