(9) The energy performance of buildings should be calculated on the basis of a methodology that integrates, in addition to thermal insulation and the use of construction materials with inherent insulating properties, other factors that play an increasingly important role such as heating/air-conditioning installations, application of renewable energy sources and the design of the building.
(9) De energieprestaties van gebouwen dienen te worden berekend volgens een methode die behalve thermische isolatie en het gebruik van op zich al isolerende bouwmaterialen ook andere factoren in aanmerking neemt, die een steeds belangrijker rol spelen, zoals installaties voor verwarming en airconditioning, de toepassing van hernieuwbare energiebronnen en het ontwerp van het gebouw.
