Unless otherwise specified in this title, this Regulation and the delegated acts adopted pursuant to this Regulation shall apply
to applications for international registrations under the Protocol relating to the Madrid Agreement concerning the international registration of marks, adopted at Madrid on 27 June 1989 (hereafter referred to as ‘international applications’ and ’the Madrid Protocol’ respectively), based on an application for a European Union trade mark or on a European Union trade mark and to registrations of marks in the international register maintained b
y the International Bureau ...[+++] of the World Intellectual Property Organisation (hereafter referred to as ‘international registrations’ and ’the International Bureau’, respectively) designating the European Union '.Voor zover in deze titel niet anders is bepaald, zijn deze verordening en de krachtens deze verordening vastgestelde gedelegeerde handelingen van toepassing op
aanvragen voor een internationale inschrijving uit hoofde van het Protocol bij de Schikking van Madrid betreffende de internationale inschrijving van merken, aangenomen te Madrid op 27 juni 1989 (hierna „internationale aanvragen”, respectievelijk „het Protocol van Madrid”), die zijn gebaseerd op een aanvrage voor een EU-merk of op een EU-merk, en op inschrijvingen van een merk in het internationale register dat door
