weapons and become aware that it exists with quite different purposes in mind, things that have absolutely nothing to do with what we ha
ve been, for years, hearing and discu ...[+++]ssing in the European public square, or with what I see as being the causes of this crisis.
Nu hoor ik al de beloftes van de regeringen, die ons met onuitputtelijke energie hun reddingsplannen voor de Grondwet uiteenzetten. En toch moet ik, als ik heel precies luister, denken aan het paard van Troje: als je je oor tegen het houten paard te luisteren legt, hoor je het gekletter van wapens, dat van heel andere voornemens getuigt. Die hebben niets uitstaande met de dingen die we al jaren in de Europese openbaarheid horen en bediscussiëren, noch met de dingen die volgens mij de oorzaken van deze crisis zijn.
