With regard in particular to the Sterckx report, I think it is appropriate to develop the European system for the exchange of information and the use of the automatic identification system for fishing boats, provided that there is then concrete support of up to 90% from the EU for equipping fleets with new instrument systems, especially for small operators.
Met het oog op het verslag-Sterckx in het bijzonder denk ik dat het correct is om het Europees systeem voor informatie-uitwisseling en het gebruik van het systeem voor automatische identificatie van vissersboten verder te ontwikkelen, op voorwaarde dat meer dan 90 procent van de EU concreet de uitrusting van vissersvloten met nieuwe instrumentsystemen steunt, met name voor kleine ondernemers.
