The adequacy of demonstration of conformity with the general safety and performance requirements based on the results of non-clinical testing methods alone, including performance evaluation, bench testing and pre-clinical evaluation, has to be duly substantiated in the technical documentation referred to in Annex II.
Uit de technische documentatie, als bedoeld in bijlage II, moet terdege blijken dat het passend is dat de conformiteit met de algemene veiligheids- en prestatievoorschriften alleen op grond van de resultaten van niet-klinische testmethoden, waaronder evaluatie van de prestaties, benchtests en preklinische evaluatie, wordt aangetoond.
