In doing so it will draw on relevant experience gained from the self-assessment tool presented in the Innovation Union and from the analysis of progress with respect to the European Research Area, and make use of relevant indicators, including the Commission’s Innovation Union Scoreboard and the indicator of innovation output.[23] The Commission will also provide world-class data, analysis and intelligence on research and innovation (RI) policy and performance at EU and national level,[24] and use the Policy Support Facility foreseen in Horizon 2020 including technical assistance, peer reviews and mutual learning.
