In this context, the Commission will evaluate its impact on rescuing companies in financial difficulties and giving honest entrepreneurs a second chance, its interplay with other insolvency procedures in other areas such as discharge periods for natural persons not exercising a trade, business, craft or professional activity, its impact on the functioning of the internal market and on small and medium enterprises and the competitiveness of the economy of the Union.
In dit verband zal de Commissie haar effect op de redding van ondernemingen in financiële moeilijkheden en de tweede kans voor eerlijke ondernemers evalueren, alsook haar wisselwerking met andere insolventieprocedures op andere gebieden zoals de kwijtscheldingstermijnen voor natuurlijke personen die geen handels-, bedrijfs-, ambachts- of beroepsactiviteit uitoefenen, haar effect op de werking van de interne markt, op kleine en middelgrote ondernemingen en op de concurrentiekracht van de economie van de Unie.
