1. Only the requirements of Articles 3(1), 4(1) and 7(1) shall apply to the slaughtering of poultry, rabbits and hares on the farm for the purpose of directly supplying small quantities of meat by the producer to the final consumer or to local retail establishments supplying such meat directly to the final consumer as fresh meat, provided that the number of animals slaughtered on the farm does not exceed the maximum number of animals to be established in accordance with the procedure referred to in Article 25(2).

Enkel de voorschriften van artikel 3, lid 1, artikel 4, lid 1, en artikel 7, lid 1, zijn van toepassing op het slachten van pluimvee, konijnen en hazen op het bedrijf met het oog op de rechtstreekse levering van kleine hoeveelheden vlees door de producent aan de eindverbruiker of aan de plaatselijke detailhandel die dergelijk vlees rechtstreeks als vers vlees aan de eindverbruiker levert, op voorwaarde dat het aantal op het bedrijf geslachte dieren niet hoger is dan het overeenkomstig de in artikel 25, lid 2, bedoelde procedure vast te stellen maximumaantal dieren.
