For countries affected by high indices of food insecurity such as Georgia, Armenia or Kyrgyzstan, support from the food security budget line can promote the structural reforms necessary to improve institutional and legal frameworks and remove obstacles to food production and trade (e.g. trade infrastructure, customs procedures and regulations, tariff and non-tariff barriers).
Voor landen die met een hoge voedselonzekerheid worden geconfronteerd zoals Georgië, Armenië of Kirgizstan, kan steun uit de begrotingslijn voedselzekerheid de structurele hervormingen bevorderen die nodig zijn voor het verbeteren van het institutioneel en wettelijk kader en de hinderpalen voor de voedselproductie en -handel (bv. handelsinfrastructuur, douaneprocedures en -voorschriften, tarifaire en niet-tarifaire hinderpalen) verwijderen.
